Design and display
The Redmi 7 sports polycarbonate gradient finish design. The phone comes with 6.26 in HD+ IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio.This screen is promised to deliver an 82 percent coverage of the NTSC color space. The front of the phone also gets a Gorilla Glass 5 treatment just like the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi note 7 Pro.
Processor and Storage
Redmi 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset. The phone comes with 2 GB , 3 GB and 4 GB RAM and 16/32/64 GB internal storage options.
Redmi 7 has dual rear camera setup with a 12 MP sensor (1.25 micron pixels) with F/2.2 aperture alongwith 2 megapixel depth sensor. On the front, Redmi 7 has 8-megapixels selfie shooter with AI Portrait mode option.

The Redmi 7 packed with 4000 mAh battery with 10W charger bundled.In terms of connectivity, The phone has 3.5 mm headphone jack. Redmi 7 has every essential sensor like Proximity sensor, Gyroscope , light sensor, magnetic sensor and motion detector.
Price and availability
The Redmi 7 has been launched in china.The Redmi 7’s price starts off at Yuan 699 Yuan (INR 7,000 approx.) for its 2GB RAM + 16GB storage model. The phone’s 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant is priced at 799 Yuan (INR 8,000 approx.). There is also a 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage model that will cost 999 Yuan (INR 9,000 approx.). Pre-booking in China start tonight, with sales to commence from 26 March. The phone is offered in three color options – Blue, Red, and Black. The Red and Blue variant offer gradient finishes.No word yet as to when the phone will arrive in India.
